PlushList

PlushList support

Let's get your collection unstuck.

Most setup snags take only a minute to fix. Start with the path that matches what you see, then reconnect without losing anything already saved to your account.

Installation

Get the helper ready in Chrome.

  1. Open PlushList in the Chrome Web Store and choose Add to Chrome.
  2. Pin PlushList, then visit a product on buildabear.com. If Chrome asks about site access, allow PlushList on Build-A-Bear.
  3. Open the PlushList Chrome helper page, create your private token, then enter the site address and token in the extension's Settings & help page.
  4. Choose Agree and connect, then reload the Build-A-Bear page when PlushList confirms the connection. Extensions do not run in Guest mode and may be unavailable on a managed work or school browser.

Store installations update automatically. If you previously used the manual ZIP, remove that unpacked copy before installing the Store edition to avoid duplicate buttons. A manual installation remains available from the Chrome helper page when needed.

Connection

Replace an expired or revoked token.

  1. Sign in at the PlushList Chrome helper page with the Google account that owns your collection.
  2. Choose Create replacement token. Creating a new token safely revokes the old one.
  3. Copy the new token immediately. It is shown only once and expires after 90 days.
  4. Open the extension's settings, review the data-use notice, enter https://plush-list.vercel.app as the site address, paste the token, and choose Agree and connect.
  5. Wait for the connected confirmation, then reload the Build-A-Bear product page.
If it still says the token is invalid

Check for an extra space before or after the token, confirm the site address uses https and has no extra path, and make sure you did not create another replacement token afterward.

Account access

Sign in with Google—not ChatGPT.

PlushList uses Google only for account sign-in. You do not need a ChatGPT or OpenAI account. The email and profile name returned by Google identify your private PlushList collection.

  • Open the PlushList sign-in page directly and choose Continue with Google.
  • Use the same Google account each time; a different address opens a different collection.
  • If the sign-in returns to the login page, try a normal Chrome window instead of Guest or Incognito mode and allow cookies for PlushList and Google.
  • If a managed browser blocks Google sign-in or extensions, try a personal Chrome profile.

Saved items

The button turned green, but where is the item?

  • Open My collection, select All treasures, and clear any search, tag, type, or status filters.
  • Refresh the collection page if it was already open when you saved the product.
  • Check whether you chose Collection or Wish list; each has its own filter.
  • Search for part of the product name. Saving the same listing again updates the existing entry instead of making a duplicate.
  • Open the extension popup and check its latest-save message. If it shows a connection error, follow the reconnect steps above.

Order history

Bring past Build-A-Bear purchases into PlushList.

Order-history import requires PlushList extension version 0.3.0 or newer. The Chrome Web Store currently serves 0.2.2. Until the 0.3.0 update is approved and published, use the manual 0.3.0 package from the Chrome helper page to test this feature.

  1. Sign in at buildabear.com, open My Account, then choose Orders.
  2. Reload the page after installing or updating PlushList. Find the PlushList order importer below the Order History heading.
  3. Choose Import my purchases. Keep the page open while PlushList scans every history page and order detail.
  4. Review the completion summary, then open My collection. Products already owned are left unchanged, and matching wish-list items move into your collection.
Safe to run again

The importer matches official product URLs and SKUs, so retrying after an interruption does not create another copy. Gift cards and canceled, refunded, returned, or failed orders are skipped. Addresses, payment details, tracking numbers, order numbers, and raw order pages are never sent to PlushList. Order numbers are used only to open details inside Build-A-Bear.

Privacy & deletion

You stay in control of your collection.

Delete individual items from My collection. To permanently delete your PlushList account—including its collection items, custom tags, extension connection, and PlushList sign-in identity—sign in and use the account deletion control on the Privacy page. This does not delete your Google Account. You can also revoke only the extension token from the Chrome helper page.

Removing PlushList from Chrome clears its local connection data but does not delete collection records already stored on the website.
